Yoga and pilates are, in my opinion, extremely useful disciplines to help mind, body and soul.
Having one’s body being coordinated and supported by good posture, tone, and flexibility, moves us away from the maladaptive processes of poor posture, and tight and tired muscles trying to strap up an inefficient structure. Whereas, appropriate posture and muscles working at their optimum- rather than being overstretched- leads to a more relaxed body physically and, in my mind and experience, mentally.
